Orientation Day

1.

Monday Arrivals

  • Please present yourself at reception on Level 2, 72 Mary Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010.
  • Morning students should arrive at 8:15 AM for orientation.
  • Evening students should arrive at 4:00 PM for orientation.

What to bring:

You need to bring your passport and a passport photo so we can prepare a student card for you.

What you will receive:

Access staff will welcome you and provide you with an orientation pack containing:

  • Student Orientation Book
  • Sydney Map
  • CityRail Network Map
  • Activities Flyers

Testing and class placement:

An interview and written test will be conducted in order to assess your English level so that you can be placed in the appropriate class.

Administration:

You will need to sign your enrolment agreement as well as your student card.

Presentation by the Academic Management:

The Academic Management will go through the information about the school, the classes, the activities and life in Australia.

Tour of the school and its surrounding area:

The Student Services Officer will introduce you to the Access staff, show you around the school and its facilities, tell you about the different activities and take you on a short tour of the area surrounding the school.

6.

End of orientation:

After the orientation finishes, you will be allocated to your appropriate class, which you will be welcome to join immediately.
