Access Language Centre, Sydney – Orientation Day
Morning students should arrive at 8:15 AM.
Evening students should arrive at 3:30 PM.
What to bring:
You need to bring your passport and a passport photo so we can prepare a student card for you.
Access staff will welcome you and provide you with an orientation pack containing:
– Student Orientation Book
– Sydney Map
– CityRail Network Map
– Activities Flyers
Testing and class placement:
An interview and written test will be conducted in order to assess your English level so that you can be placed in the appropriate class.
You will need to sign your enrolment agreement as well as your student card.
Presentation by the Director of Studies (DOS):
The Director of Studies will go through the information about the school, the classes, the activities and life in Australia.
Tour of the school and its surrounding area:
The Student Services Officer will introduce you to the Access staff, show you around the school and its facilities, tell you about the different activities and take you on a short tour of the area surrounding the school.
End of orientation:
You are now free to go home or come to the reception area with any further questions.
Start of class and class allocations:
If you are a Super Intensive student, you may start your class at 1:30 PM on Monday.
If you are an Intensive student (morning), your classes will start at 8:30 AM on Tuesday.
If you are an Intensive student (evening), your classes will start at 4:30 PM on Tuesday.
You can come to the reception area for your class allocations.
